So we built thisPoinT Gate timestamps the instant the beam breaks on the device itself, to 0.1 ms, and its 38 kHz modulated infrared stays accurate even at midday. Times and speeds appear right away on the screen and in the app.

The device times it,

The moment the beam breaks, the receiver stamps the time itself and the buzzer sounds. Unlike a manual stopwatch, it records to 0.1 ms.

It uses an infrared beam modulated at 38 kHz, so it can tell the beam apart from sunlight, even on a sun-drenched field.

Split times show on the receiver screen right away. Connect the app to log each athlete’s average split speed, in m/s and km/h.

a tripod.
The standard 1/4″ thread on the bottom fits any tripod. Gates sync wirelessly through an external antenna, so there are no cables to lay.
